We are a private English school in China; we teach English language courses and we also encourage cultural exchange between China and the rest of the world! The school gives conversational English training to students from all age groups, beginning from Children all the way up to adults. Class size is limited to 18 students for the children as well as youth levels and 16 students for the adult groups. We run three terms a year for the general courses; Spring, Summer and the Fall sessions respectively. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and creative foreign teachers, preferably those with experience in TEFL/TESL, for those who have no prior experience teaching, training will be given.

We arrange many activities for students apart from normal classes; English clubs, English corners,parties, field trips and many more. Jiangmen is a very old city with 2000 years of history and it still retains the characteristics of a typical Cantonese tradition. You will get to experience the native Chinese culture and the friendly people in Jiangmen. The city of Jiangmen is well known for it’s overseas Chinese. There are three easy ways to enter China in order to get to Jiangmen:

1.Fly into the International Airport and get to the China Hong Kong City Ferry Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. The ferry takes you directly to Jiangmen in less than two and a half hours. Departure time: 8.30am, 1.30.pm and the last ferry leaves at 5.00pm. We will receive you at the Jiangmen Ferry terminal.

2 Fly into Guangzhou International Airport, City of Canton and we will receive you at the airport.

3. Fly into Macau International Airport and cross the Macau-Zhuhai border into Mainland China to the city of Zhuhai. It takes about 30 minutes to walk through the immigration formalities across to Zhuhai. We will receive you at the port of entry on the Zhuhai side. Most foreigners can apply, on arrival, for a tourist visa (L visa) at these points of entry except at the Guangzhou International Airport. You will need your passport, one passport picture . However, citizens of some countries cannot get a visa at the border. Citizens of other countries may get a tourist visa but need to pay 100 US dollars for a one-day visit. You should therefore check with your local Chinese Consulate to determine what the requirements are for you.

How to apply for a one year multiple-entry working visa (Z visa).

We suggest you get a 3 months tourist visa first and the school can later apply for a work visa for you after you sign your contract. The whole process takes at least 3 weeks.

1. Physical health examination in Jiangmen
2. Get permit from the Education Bureau.
3. Apply for work permit at the Jiangmen Labor Bureau.
4. Apply for a work visa in Jiangmen visa office.
You will need to supply the school with:
1. 7 passport pictures
2. A copy of your passport, visa, and the latest date stamp when you entered China.
3. TEFL, TEOSL, University certificates, or other copies of appropriate records.
4. Fill out a form about your background.
