| Small class size, maximum
of 18 students for main classes. You have the same main class
for a minimum of three
months. It's a nice way to connect with students and learn about
China. Jiangmen is one of the most livable cities
in China. Jiangmen¡¯s population (city proper) is a little over
half a million. This is small compared to nearly all
other cities in China. Also, we have a unique blend of Chinese
cultures here with people and cuisines from all
over China.
We have clean air, green mountains and rivers flowing through
the city. It's only 2 hours to Hong Kong by ferry,
90 minutes bus ride to Macao. We provide multiple entry visas
that let you travel freely. Jiangmen is a very
easy city to live in. Public transportation is safe and affordable.
We have restaurants from India, Thailand, Japan,
Korea, and all the American standards like McDonalds and KFC.
We have gyms, public pools and convenient
shopping. Jiangmen¡¯s climate is very mild. No snow! We only
have two months of uncomfortable weatherin the
winter. Most foreigners find the summer quite humid but our
classrooms and housing are air-conditioned. We
have one teacher¡¯s outings each month which teachers are encouraged,
but not required to join. This will give you
an easy way to explore your host country for free! This area
abounds with mountains and islands to explore. We
also have hills, waterfalls and fishing villages.International
team. We seek diversity in age, race, culture and accent.
Students cannot choose teachers in our school. We teach students
not just English, also international cultures and
values of justice, fairness and kindness. This is a great place
to get international experience and create lifelong
friendships with people from all around the world. Few schools
give you the type of freedom we encourage in
the classroom. We urge you to try different ways to teach English.
Over-reliance on textbooks is discouraged. If
you are new to ESL teaching, this is a great place to acquire
the skills and confidence. We provide orientation,
observation and feedback and in service training programs |
